It's that time... the middle of July. Time to start thinking about the upcoming school year and making plans. Since I am not sure how we are teaming or what I will be teaching, I have decided to focus on classroom management for now.
Last year, I focused on using Class Dojo and it worked pretty well. But this year I am going back to my classroom economy. I got so much wonderful feedback from students and parents that I think it is worth going back to it.

Last time, I had kids change jobs in January, but I think this year we will keep the same jobs all year long. I want to focus on developing their job skills and work ethic throughout the year. This will be the handout that I give to students and parents at the beginning of the year. You can get a copy of it HERE. |
The Classified section is all from Mrs. Lyon. Isn't that a good idea? Ask your students and their families to donate to your classroom when they are cleaning up. One kid's trash, is another kid's treasure!
So... I will have a whole series for you that outlines how I will implement and use my classroom economy.
