So it has been 5 days. Wow. I came home on Tuesday and I was feeling pretty good. Pain was at a 2-3 and the incisions were looking pretty good. I began drinking my protein drinks an ounce at a time. At the hospital, they gave me several liquids to drink and ounce cups to do it in. That has been a great way for me to keep track of how much water and protein I consume and for restricting the amount I ingest at one time. |
I am keeping track of my food and drink intake using this form. You can download it if you want! By only drinking 1 oz every 15 minutes, I have kept nausea at bay and I haven't gotten sick! Most of my incisions are doing well, but I had one on my right side that was looking a little rough. So I looked up what to do in my EODR and grabbed my Tea Tree oil and Geranium oil. I am very comfortable using Young Living essential oils on my skin, cuts, and internally. |
I would not look any other brand of oils topically or internally. You can check out Young Living's Seed to Seal website to learn why I trust them above all others.
That incision is healing better and looks more like the other now.
Speaking of incisions... I have 6. Three are tiny, two are about an inch long, and the last one is about 2 inches long. Surprisingly, they don't really hurt all that much. I am mainly hurting inside.
I was expecting it to get better over the last few days, but I am staying at a pain level of 2-3. Bummer.
I go back to the doctor on Monday, to have the staples removed. I will write again then!
